Waste Management Cross Infection Control for Clinics

In any clinic be it a Dental, Veterinary, Tattoo, GP or Hospital, cross infection control is of big interest for the well-being of those employed to be there and the patients.  Standard cross infection control protocols are a legal matter too.

Cross Infection or Contamination Control is a very lengthy topic and there is so much to do and follow to ensure a safe environment.

6 Things to Know about Clinical Waste Disposal

  •  Never touch the bin
  • Only handle the part of the bin liner outside of the bin
  • Never leave the bin open when not in use
  • Ensure bins are secure to prevent spillage
  • Always fill the bin no more than 2 thirds full before empting
  • Ensure a tight and securely fitted lid

There are two options available:

  • Pedal Bins
  • Sensor Bins

Either are fine but sensor bins are easier to operate and less likely to break.  It so happens that we sell sensor bins at sensorbin.co.uk!
